SIMConnect is not only about work and academic performance but about positive change in society.
Social Impact
The SR department aims at increasing our positive impact on the broader community in which we live. We have numerous initiatives in place that aim at doing social good. We are proud participants of the yearly Weihnachten im Schuhkarton and various other smaller events that impact our communities.
Mental Health
Through various initiatives, we foster mental health within our student intakes, to enable a higher quality student life. Especially in times before and after exam periods, our mental health week enables students to regain their cognitive focus.
Since our department establishment in 2020, we have raised and donated more than €6,000 to social causes!
Weihnachten im Schuhkarton
Christmas in a Shoebox enables poor children world wide to enjoy a merry Christmas. Through donations from our students and corporate partners, we package presents before Christmas and donate them to children in need.
Other Events
Various other initiatives increase our social impact, such as cooking meals in homeless shelters and taking ice-baths for good causes.
